d'Amiens, first trial of our equestrian Tour de France, the Grand National
du Trot (Gr.3 - 2 950 m - 1' 16" 7).
2/03 - Prix de Sélection (Gr.1). Four
times placed second in Gr.1 races, KAISY DREAM
frankly wins his first classic race, defeating Késaco Phédo
and Korean. (2 200 m - 1' 13" 4).
28/02 - Léda d'Occagnes (CYGNUS D'ODYSSEE), alone ahead and... again very impressive,
wins the first rendez-vous "au monté" between colts and
fillies, Prix Félicien Gauvreau (Scm.).
Other event for promising 3-y-o's, Prix de Carhaix honors Love You
(COKTAIL JET), tremendous winner of Ludo
de Castelle (CYGNUS D'ODYSSEE) and Lucky
d'Hilly (COKTAIL JET).
24/02 - Critérium des Jeunes (Gr.1) Big
Day ! The script was poor : only five horses finished the course. Nevertheless,
Look de Star, the winner by COKTAIL JET,
definitely belongs to the best french 3-y-o's.
23/02 - Gratifying (BUVETIER
D'AUNOU) frankly wins Prix Chambon (2 875 m - Enghien).
21/02 - Former Critérium des 3 Ans
winner, Install (BUVETIER D'AUNOU) confirms
his come back, as a third to Energetic in Prix du Plateau de Gravelle
(Int. Gr.2).
20/02 - Two more promising 3-y-o's! The fillies
Luzachinga (COKTAIL JET) and La Fée
(DEFI D'AUNOU), both trained by Jean-Pierre Dubois,
dominate the last race at Enghien.
16/02 - Kelle Emotion (DEFI
D'AUNOU), main sensation of Prix d'Avignon (2 100 m - autostart), defeats
horses as talentuous as Kitko and Kart de Baudrairie.
14/02 - A terrific start of a new career for Léda
d'Occagnes (CYGNUS D'ODYSSEE), easy winner
"au monté" for her first try, in the important Prix Holly
du Locton (Scm.). Léda d'Occagnes's pictures.
Earlier, Life Is Good (DEFI D'AUNOU) was
third to the excellent filly Libération in Prix de Graignes
and Herba Bourbon (AND ARIFANT) realizes
the best winter of her life, winning a second important race of the meeting
in Prix de Châteaurenard.
12/02 - Two brilliant winners for their Sire DEFI D'AUNOU. Ludovic, winner at Enghien (harness)
answers to Lagon, successful a few days ago "au monté".
11/2 - Winner at Vincennes, earlier in the winter,
La Rouge (BUVETIER D'AUNOU) dominates
at Enghien.
9/2 - An astonishing final acceleration and KAISY DREAM wins, for his come back, Prix Ephrem Houel
(Sca.), defeating Kaiser Sozé (AND
ARIFANT) and Késaco Phédo.
A very attractive Look de Star (COKTAIL JET)
impressively wins his first race on the track of Vincennes, a second success
after the one in august at Enghien.
5/2 - Liberté (BUVETIER
D'AUNOU) and Let's Go Darling (COKTAIL
JET) dominate Prix Roquépine (Sca. - 1' 16" 1 -
2 175 m) and definitely appear brilliant challengers to the colts, at the
highest level of the pyramid.
3/2 - John Arifant (AND
ARIFANT), again and again! And always frankly! This time, it was in
Prix de Barfleur. Ingala (BUVETIER D'AUNOU),
the famous sister to Gobernador, dominated Prix de Champtocé.
2/2 - Handsome horse, Kérido du Donjon
(COKTAIL JET) takes the lead and, never worried,
wins his most impressive success, this afternoon, in Prix de Valence (2
850 m - 1' 16" 4). Third and fourth, Kelle Emotion (DEFI D'AUNOU) and Katiche Wood (COKTAIL
JET) will also help in the increasing notoriety of the two Sires standing
at Haras de la Perrière.
28/1/02 - Latest one in the luxurious female line
of Buvetier d'Aunou - Défi d'Aunou - Extrême
Aunou - In Love With You, Love You (COKTAIL
JET) and Guilty of Love) wins his first race at Paris, the second of
his young career, Prix de Paray-le-Monial.
27/1/02 - A glorious day for Varenne in the
Prix
d'Amérique.
And also...
Kiwi (COKTAIL JET) and Kaiser Sozé
(AND ARIFANT), placed second and third to Korean
in Prix de Montréal, defeat excellent 4-y-o's. Only race given to
3-y-o's on the Big Day, Prix d'Ambert is a very chic rendez-vous. The excellent
win of L'Aunou du Fier (BUVETIER D'AUNOU)
may be seen as a positive omen. She particularly defeats Lumière
de Comtal (EXTREME AUNOU) and Look de
Star (COKTAIL JET), respectively third and
fourth
Earlier, Kanagan (CYGNUS D'ODYSSEE) became
the Prix d'Amérique 2002 Sales Top Price reaching 150 000 euros.
20/1/02 - Kaiser Sozé (AND
ARIFANT) is placed 2nd in Prix Charles Tiercelin (Sca.) to the
fine Kuza Viva, after exhausting Keed Tivoli, 3rd Critérium
des Trois Ans, all along the 2 700 mètres of the semi-classic.
He so confirms that he will be a classic hope in the next months.
19/1/02 - Chestnut, pretty, over reactive, the small
L'Ile de Rêve (COKTAIL JET) has
easily won Prix d'Ableiges against Lumière de Faël (BUVETIER D'AUNOU).
JENKO returned home today with a promising third
place in the important Prix Roederer (Sca.) (02), won by Royal
Gull in front of Com Lear. One more win for the really brilliant
John Arifant (AND ARIFANT) ... this time
against the battleship Jeanbat du Vivier (COKTAIL
JET).
15/1/02 - AND ARIFANT
realizes a great winter. His Herba Bourbon has danced on the main
track in a good race, Prix de Maisons-Alfort (2 100 - 1' 14" 7).
14/1/02 - Let's Go Darling (COKTAIL
JET) makes a fantastic impression, winning Prix Gélinotte (Sca.
- 2 175 m - 1' 16" 5.). Winner of the first semi-classic event for
fillies, Leda d'Occagnes (CYGNUS D'ODYSSEE)
is placed second.
13/1/02 - Mighty and elegant, Kiwi (COKTAIL JET) shows his high ambitions, while he dominates
the excellent filly Kiva Nivernaise in Prix de Coucy-le-Château
(2 100 m autostart - 1' 14" 5). A horse to follow with much attention.
12/1/02 - Beautiful and powerful horse, Joram
d'Elbe (AND ARIFANT) easily dominates good
performers in Prix de Riberac at Vincennes. And now, let's feature Prix d'Amérique
Sales.
6/1/02 - Prix de Croix (Sca. - 2 700 m -
1' 16" 6) : Pushed towards the audience by his challenger Jag de
Bellouet in the last two hundred meters, Jain de Béval
(COKTAIL JET) logically retrieves his win in
front of the judges, while JENKO is placed fourth.
Talentuous and elegant chesnut horse, John Arifant (AND
ARIFANT) impressively wins Prix de Cordemais.
5/1/02 : Kaiser Sozé (AND
ARIFANT) victoriously shines for his first try at a semi-classic level
in Prix de Tonnac-Villeneuve (Sca. - 2 175 m). An impressive last
kilometer allows him to defeat Bartali OK and Krac Special.
Earlier, La Rouge (BUVETIER D'AUNOU)
had won her first race at Vincennes.
31/12 et 1/1 : Two names to remember, two
brilliant winners around the New Year's Day. Kérido du Donjon
(COKTAIL JET), monday in Prix de la Beauce (2
725 m - 1' 16" 4), Kelle Emotion (DEFI D'AUNOU),
tuesday in Prix de Croissanville (2 725 m - 1' 17).
30/12 : Beloved by her breeders, Let's Go Darling
(COKTAIL JET) frankly wins Prix de Deauville.
Jardy (CYGNUS D'ODYSSEE) started twenty-five
meters behind a trio of beautiful and excellent mares Jerka de Janeiro,
Jaflosa Gédé and Jalencia. Gallant horse, he
stayed behind, finishing exactly fourth in Prix Emile Riotteau (Scm.)
...
22/12 : Prix Une de Mai (Sca.). A disastrous
start and Liberté, Lara du Goutier, Like A Nevele
and Life Is Good were cantering in the first two hundred meters.
Nevertheless, Léda d'Occagnes (CYGNUS
D'ODYSSEE) has shown an high potential to win easily the first semi-classic
race given to the fillies.
At 1 : 15 PM, Kiwi (COKTAIL JET) had
dominated a serious Kangone (DEFI D'AUNOU)
in the Prix de Château Chinon.
